Once upon a time I had an afro
Back then I had a long way to go
Before I'd learn the world's cruel tricks
Before I'd learn it's full of pricks

But lo and behold a beautiful being
Her hair is lovely and her name's Celine
Doesn't matter that she's already comitted
Love ensures all crimes acquitted

But now I'm here all by myself
My friends departed
My mind in tatters
I'm tired of rhymes
